KPS BRT3000: Battery tester with internal resistance, voltage and temperature measurement
Introduction
The KPS BRT3000 is a battery tester designed to assess the health of rechargeable batteries by measuring their internal resistance, voltage and temperature. It is compatible with lead-acid and lithium batteries, and is particularly suitable for maintenance, installation, manufacturing and diagnostic tasks involving battery systems.
Thanks to its low-resistance alternating current (AC) measurement technology and its noise reduction system, the BRT3000 enables accurate testing without the need to interrupt the normal operation of the equipment under test. This is a particularly important advantage in the maintenance of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, where minimising downtime is essential.
Its four-terminal measurement method helps to reduce the influence of contact resistance in the test leads and connections, providing reliable readings of the battery’s internal resistance.
With data logging, USB communication and a configurable evaluation function, the KPS BRT3000 is a practical solution for monitoring battery condition and detecting potential signs of deterioration.
